Las Madres of Morgan Hill is a social organization for parents and young children.  We are a volunteer group with subgroups organized by the year in which children are born from birth up through 5 years old.

The heart of Las Madres is our playgroups. A playgroup is a group of parents and/or caregivers and their children who meet regularly at a member's home, park, or other location for socializing and playtime. We also offer seasonal activities, holiday and birthday parties, family outings, mothers' nights out, meals for new parents, community activities, and much more!

We support our local community through multiple, annual public service activities that are managed and funded by member volunteers. Examples of our public service include: (1) Preschool and Kindergarten Information Night, a free, informational evening every January about the preschools and educational options in our area; and, (2) o
ur annual Las Madres Spring Festival, a free, public event around Easter. We do an annual membership drive in summer, designed to introduce new families to Las Madres and kick off the newest group within Las Madres. You are welcome to join us for up to a month as a courtesy member to decide if this is the group for you and your children.

We welcome parents from all walks of life and hope to represent the diversity of our community. Most of our members are mothers and we extend our warm welcome to dads, grandparents, and other caregivers.
